Britain votes to exit the EU:  June 23, 2016.

This will go down as one of the most significant political events of the era.

On the 23rd.  Of Course.

23 minutes in to Guardians of the Galaxy

At 23 minutes into the movie Guardians of the Galaxy, Rocket Raccoon says: "I've broken out of 22 prisons, this one's no different."   And if the obvious need be stated that would make the one they break out of shortly thereafter prison #23.

Not that this is terribly noteworthy, suspicious suicides among the power elite are a dime a dozen, but it seems worth mentioning that this one was from the 23rd floor.

23 and Dark Matter

Only 4.6% of the mass-energy of the universe is believed to be composed of actual matter.  Our best and brightest calculate that +/- 72% is dark energy.  And the remaining 23% is composed of dark matter, the latter being categories of which we know nothing.

That's the best we've guess we've got about the greatest mystery we've got.  Another 23.

The Dance of Reality by Alejandro Jodorowsky.

This of course will be interesting to those enchanted by the 23 enigma.   Particularly if you remember The Holy Mountain.  =)

Alejandro Jodorowsky is putting out his first major film in 25 years.  Slated release date?  5/23.  Yup.

Dr Pepper, 23 Flavors, and Famous Mass Killings

Surely you've noticed that the popular sugary beverage Dr Pepper contains 23 flavors.  But did you also know that it was first developed in Waco Texas?  A little over a century later Waco was of course home to the infamous massacre of a the Branch Davidian religious cult by the United States Federal Government on April 19.  (4+19=23)  Two years later the Oklahoma city bombing was launched on the same date in retaliation for that event.  And four years and a day later on 4-20-1999 the Columbine High School shooting occurred.  The story goes that the young shooters were forced to postpone their assault by a day but had originally intended to launch the attack on 4-19.  Coincidentally 4-20 was Adolf Hitler's birthday.  4-20-1889 (4+2+0+1+8+8+9=32)

According to DrPepper.com the company categorically denies the presence of prune juice in their beverage, but as far as I can tell there is no mention of blood.
